The pressure limiting valve adjusts the oil supply pressure by means of a spring, and the pre tension of the spring is already adjusted at the factory, so users generally do not need to adjust it.

2. When the oil is too large, the oil leakage is severe, the oil pressure decreases, and the oil volume decreases. When the gap is too small, there is severe wear and tear. Therefore, there are strict requirements for both the end face and radial clearance mentioned above.

3. After the fuel supply pressure decreases, if other faults of the diesel engine are eliminated, the oil pump should be inspected. When repairing the oil pump, first observe whether there are any signs of oil leakage, burns, etc. in various parts of the oil pump. If not, check the pressure limiting valve, disassemble the oil pump, etc., to determine if the pressure limiting valve spring has become soft or if the gears, pump body, end cover, etc. are severely worn. If necessary, replace the oil pump.

4. When the oil pressure of the generator is too high, the pressure limiting valve should be disassembled and inspected. Focus on checking if the pressure limiting valve can be opened.

5. When disassembling the oil pump, special attention should be paid not to damage the end cover, the joint surface of the pump body, and the positioning pins.
